
Paramount's hope of reviving the Jack Ryan franchise has taken another delay as they hire yet another scribe in order to a crack a script together for there reboot Moscow. This time the studio has opted to turn to Anthony Peckham, who has a writing credits for Sherlock Holmes, Book of Eli and Invictus behind him.
After his success as Captain Kirk in the JJ Abbrams reboot of Star Trek in 2009, it is has been Chris Pine who Paramount feel can spearhead the rejuvenation of a franchise that fell flat after The Sum of All Fears.
Moscow, like its predecessor will focus on the earlier years f the CIA agent Ryan. Hossein Amini and Adam Koxac have already had stints at pulling the script together centered in Russia, with Peckham being brought in to polish the rough edges. Former Lost Director Jack Bender is signed to direct as soon as it is done.
