According to Variety Rachel Weisz is set to reunite with The Constant Gardener director Fernando Meirelles to shoot 360.
The Constant Gardener earned Weisz the Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2005 starring alongside Ralph Fiennes. 360 is a drama adaptation which based on a play from 1900 entitled Reigen.
Reigen has been previously reworked into the Oscar-nominated 50's film La Ronde and it follows "pairs of characters and their sexual encounters". The source material was been penned by Austrian author Arthur Schnitzer offered a social expose that aimed to break down the boundaries of society with exploration of sexual relations.
Peter Morgan who is currently working on the Freddie Mercury biopic starring Sacha Baron Cohen, is writing the script.
Now considering the source material, the Oscar nominated French adaptation and the team at work on this current incarnation, it is easy to pin-point this as an early contender when award seasons begin.
No more details as of yet, more as it arrives.
